1. Description of Service

AskQuiz is an AI-powered quiz generation tool that allows users to create quizzes from topics or text content. The Service is available in two tiers:

• Free (guest): 2 quizzes per day, up to 10 questions each.
• Free (with account): 5 quizzes per day, up to 10 questions each.
• Pro ($4.99/month): Unlimited quizzes, up to 20 questions, and PDF export.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using AskQuiz, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you are under 18, please ensure you have parental or guardian consent.

3. AI-Generated Content

AskQuiz uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate quiz content. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated quizzes are provided for informational and educational purposes only.
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any content before using it in educational or professional settings.
• Iris Digital does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce the Service.
• Use automated tools or bots to scrape or abuse the Service.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or access restrictions.

5. Pro Subscription & Billing

The Pro plan is billed at $4.99 per month via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.

• You may cancel at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Pro access until then.
• No refunds are issued for partial months. Cancelling mid-cycle does not trigger a pro-rata refund.
• Failed payments may result in immediate downgrade to the Free plan. You can resubscribe at any time.
• Prices are in USD and do not include local taxes where applicable.

6. Intellectual Property

The AskQuiz platform, including its code, design, branding, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Iris Digital.

• You retain ownership of any topic, text, or material you submit to the Service.
• You are granted a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use the quizzes generated for you — for personal, educational, or commercial purposes — provided you comply with these Terms.
• You may not copy, redistribute, or resell the AskQuiz platform itself, nor use its branding without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IRIS DIGITAL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IRIS DIGITAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of French courts.
